HELP!!

i got my new lcd tv .... but i dont no how to connect my 360 to it and view in HD format .... there is a switch behind the av cable tht i switch to hdtv but yet i dont get any display....

 

which wires am i to connect .... my cable has the regular (yellow white red avi wires) and it has this wierd vga type wire .... but i doubt its a vga cable .... so i need help .... cuz wen i use the red white yellow wires i get no dislay on HDTV mode .... PLZ HELP! ASAP!!

see iv got a avi cable tht spilts into 2 .... 1 is the normal red white red and the other is this kind of vga type wierd thing but its not a vga or hdmi imo .... im searchin google for a pic and il post the pic here ....

premimium console but im using the av cable i got with my jap console as i broke the one i got with this one .... but this one also has a hdtv-sdtv switch on it so i guess i shud be able to use it .... but dont no how to ....

and wht the hell is tht red white red combo?? dude do u hav a core or premium console?

 

 

red yellow white .... and the other one is this wierd vga type cable and im sure its not vga and quite sure its not hdmi

I got the same cable with my NTSC-J console with weird looking connector. The red, yellow and white connector is for composite connection, don't bother using it. You'll have to buy separate components cable for 360.

^^ The earlier NTSC-J consoles came with this special connector, later ones all have proper component cable. Does your 360 need a voltage converter as well ?

 

If the grey brick is a voltage converter then yes. Otherwise, i don't think so.

 

I thought so. The ones with 220v NTSC-J consoles comes with component cables, mine is 110v (and I guess arjun's as well) and needs a voltage down converter.
