And Arawn's VA reminded me of Rajinikanth for some reason o_o I personally only played it for Octavia <3 It's no Utawarerumono, but it ain't too bad. Yeah, I played it right after Utawarerumono and was thoroughly disappointed. The art wasn't a big problem for me, but the story was meh, characters were meh, their developments were meh and ending was lol. Actually I somewhat enjoyed it I guess, wouldn't have finished otherwise. But it was pretty average and playing it after Utawarerumono didn't help I guess. The battle system was another problem and didn't work too well. Read that it was changed to tradition srpg style for a PS3 remake. BUMP! Played these VNs ages ago. Can't believe I completely forgot about them till now :v Snow Sakura, Yume Miru Kusuri and Crescendo is School Life/slice of life-ish. Figures of Happiness = supernatural. The Crescendo vid is a slideshow of the CGs, the safe ones. I can't recommend these enough in case you guys haven't played em yet. And I can guarantee that they have deep plotlines, character development and minimal raep Waiting for patches for these 2 right now. Played upto chaper 3 in G-senjou, really good stuff, and the VA for the MC is Jun Fukuyama, the VA for Lelouch Koitate seems to have a really interesting plot too. Haven't tried the teaser patch yet. Also, 30% of Fate : HA has been translated :3 It's nice to see so many good VNs getting TL'd these days. Gotta <3 TLwiki. Haven't played any of those, would definitely try it out as school life/slice of life are some of my favorite genres. The individual routes are very meh, but I'm really looking forward to the next one (school chairman's daughter - w/e her name is) Also, where's the love for Little Busters around here? I thought Neko was angry at Key's decision to have Tomoyo as the main heroine in the sequel and that he didn't like her ending in Clannad (which didn't make much sense, so I thought maybe he played a different version with something else ). So yeah, I haven't played Tomoyo after and has been waiting for the the TL (at around 30% atm) or for my Japanese to get better by around next year. Also avoided the manga to prevent seeing any spoilers, and now I read the ending from neko's post. -____________- Guess I have no choice but to continue learning Japanese and pick up the PS2 version. Anyway, the spoiler doesn't really matter though. The version neko mentioned was released in limited edition and discontinued soon after. All the later releases including the PC FV one is based on the PS2 version. It also contains some 1.5x the content of the first release. Even took a break from Clannad after her route because I wasn't interested in the other girls. And I should rather thank you for it, would rather not read it at all if that was the ending. Guess I can understand how you felt though. Anyway, you should try the FV version when you can, its said to have nearly 50% more content so I guess the story had some major changes.
