Nemo Posted September 27, 2009 Report Share Posted September 27, 2009 dude, go to a chroma outlet, there are a few in delhi and get a ps3 phat with 2 yrs extended warrenty (if they still offer it). Slim looks good, yes but as with any console, the initial batches of a re-designed model alway have some complications- ps2, 360 had problems in their initial batch. Personally phat looks better to me and u will get free game/s with it too. Slim is not launched in india and no matter what the sardar is telling u there can be no way that the warranty he is offering is legit- trust me, I hav brought 2 ps2's and a 360 from grey market and have some really shitty experience of dealing with them, dont ever get a hardware from indian grey market.. they weill screw u hard. Try chroma and see if they offer the 2 yrs extended warranty i stated earlier. Its the best deal, i too have brought my ps3 frm there in late march this year and even if they dont, i suggest u to buy a phat ps3 from a legit outlet- try the vendors in this site- prashant etc. they give some nice discounts. Nemo Posted September 27, 2009 Report Share Posted September 27, 2009 ^^ i dunno about that and at first i too was apprehensive and did not get the warranty but then some users here told me that the warranty is just an extension of the sony warranty, i mean i will get a new console, I went there and asked them and the specifically told me that it is in fact an extension of sony's warranty, i had to pay 750 rupees for it. Dont care how they do it as long as i am sure to get a new ps3 in case my conks, i have the bill and the documents and if they try to swindle consumer court is always there.
