As for why they aren't bringing PSN to India, we've been given every ridiculous explanation imaginable. Only they know what the real reason is. Here's the reasons I've been given so far: 1. There isn't enough broadband penetration 2. There aren't enough PS3s in India 3. People only want PSN to play multiplayer, not to buy content. 4. There is a priority list of countries. When India reaches the top, we'll get PSN 5. Whenever a country gets PSN, Sony Europe has to assign a dedicated team specially dedicated to PSN for that country. I said that coz..even if India has sold lots of PS3's not everyone will want to buy the content..maybe a few will buy it..but i think what sony makes out of setting up a store for us will be lesser than what they have to spend on maintaining it.. (just curious 2 know) 1: what do u mean to say with broadband penetration? cos all metros have broadband and even some other cities have it. 2 : point is valid 3: PSN is for online gaming......(selling content is just an added bonus) 4: No idea about this 5: Expensive? if they are charging more than double the price as compared to other countries...then i believe that would be a stupid excuse on their part. i bought ps3 but now i'm having second thoughts about buying Xbox 360.. 3 of my frnds who used to have ps3 sold it and bought 360.......(i'm left alone ) peace....
