Green is a colour. Red is a colour. Orange is a fruit. Apple is a fruit. Orange can be green but Green cannot be orange => Fruit can be colour but colour cannot be fruit (Unless the colour is already a fruit) So there is no confusion when an apple is red because we're talking about one fruit and one colour. But when we talk about green oranges there are two colours and one fruit. So you see your argument doesn't hold weight. It is like comparing apples and oranges .
