New Prince Of Persia??

It’s time to get your hopes up. According to trademark site Superannuation, Prince of Persia creator Jordan Mechner filed trademark for Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands for “gaming-related use”.

However, the question still remains. Is this a movie tie-in(god forbid!), or is it another Prince of Persia title? Sadly, UbiSoft wasn’t able to tell us anything, but this does look like it could be the sequel to last year’s Prince of Persia.

Last year's POP is a disappointment for me .. POP for me is Warrior within and Sands of Time to some extent.

But , a new POP is always welcome.Just get the gameply right and a gripping storyline , we have a blockbuster on the cards !!!

Oh god. Please dont go back to the sand mechanics/storyline again. Much as I loved it, its done. The new Elika save mechanism which was there in the new PoP was just as good as the sands mechanic. In fact it was one of the (very) few things that game got right.

But if its Jordan Mechner who is doing it this could be actually great.

:D :D .. too dark and difficult for u i guess..

+1 at afty. and lol. no. iv completed far more difficult games. warrior within was like a zit on the pop trilogy. and it flopped majorly. it did actually feel like they wanted the game to appeal to the japs. :wOOtjumpy:

ubisoft came back to the sands of time formula with the two thrones which was an awesome game.
