Gautam Posted October 8, 2009 Report Share Posted October 8, 2009 Was pepsi for a long time. All the way through college. It was mainly because I didn't like Coke's pepsi bashing advertising. I couldn't really tell the two apart based on taste But due to circumstances beyond my control, I've only been able to have Coke for the past 4 years and it has really grown on me. I am talking purely the drinks here tbh. also coke has way way way better adverts, atlest in india. Pepsi is so much focused on getting stars while coke actually puts their product in the lime light. the youngistan ad was the lamest i hav seen in my years over the idiot box, where as coke had gems like the 'strangelove song' ad and those quips with aamir khan.. the one with the superbike and uncle. and i am just talking about the recent ads, back in the days too coke (with sprite and thums up) had the edge over pepsi.. remember sprite making fun of "do the dew.. I WANNA DO MAN"- "Go DO jhaddi ke piche" aaand i realize that i might be a bit partial cause i spent 3 good years drinking around 3ltrs per day (i was once 105kgs ) of coke products.. actually dad was posted in an area that had coke bottling plant and we used to get muft coke products.. numerous crates any time i desired now i am pretty sober though, drink soft drinks only like once a month, seriously, PEOPLE, soft drinks are bad for health, take it frm a personal experience, they are just fat and that of bad kind Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

HundredProofSam Posted October 8, 2009 Report Share Posted October 8, 2009 I used to like Pepsi more, but Coke kinda monopolised the area where I live so all stores in my neighbourhood only keep Coke. So I've gotten used to Coke and I like it more than Pepsi now.
