Really fun plunder matches with brightspark, taz, mixke and avi, it was awesome AWESOME FUN, we beat a team of 3 roman numeral level guys and two 30's by a score of 5 to 1 in less than 10 minutes really nice fun !!

 

And towards the end me, avi, hotpixel and yogi_boy partied up and those deatmatches were also very nice.

I have to agree with what Saint said regarding the lack of organisation. I mean if we all decide to have a tournament and it doesn't work ... well it's still fine because atleast we will know that we tried something. I have been part of the 2 FIFA tournaments which were amazing cause DribblerKing organised them perfectly. I have also been a part of some GOW clan matches which turned out really bad and have seen some mismanaged Halo tournaments which led to a lot of trash talking in the forums.

 

But the point is ... should we all stop trying and accept the fact that we Indians can't organize a clan match? The connection issue can be sorted as there are 3-4 players with whom everyone can connect. I still think we should go ahead with the tournament. We have a week's time to organize and stuff as the tournament match can take place on Friday.

 

So those who are interested can give their names here for a tournament which will be held this Friday and Saturday. We will start deciding the game modes, time limits, dicsconnection issues, etc by Wednesday if we get enough number of players who are willing to take a chance and go ahead with the tournament.

If it works or not is a separate issue which can be tackled when it shows up, it's not like people have to take special time out for this thing, you are already playing this game anyways. Hell so many of you have even bought the DLC and for what, STARING AT IT.

 

Nothing ever comes out by having a negative mindset, if it can't be done or it turns into a disaster is something that no one can tell, atleast take the first step, rest everything will follow and sort itself out.

 

And if today is to go by, noone got kicked out today and everything went smoothly, voice problems sorted itself out as we gamed on. SA was there as well, we had party of 8 people and everyone was gelling along fine.

 

It's a shame for this forum and it's members that despite having such a huge number of members playing this game, we can't even organize 1 freaking game tournament, and then we call it the Indianvideogamer. I mean what is the purpose of this forum then anyways.

 

Either ways if there is no response then we already have one team ready and we can enter into tournaments running at other forums.

 

By the way there is an all girls tournament going on in another forum, we can use the voice changer to modify our voice and then try to sneak in our team , will be surrounded by girls playing UC2

dude....This game is a year old game..thr r lot of good mp games dat released after dis..so obviously thr r very less no of players interested in it now.....pls don make such kinda statements abt the website..whn a new game is released you'll find around 40 to 50 ppl playing it easily...thr was a plan of hving an official ivg uc2 tourny..but connection issues made the tourny to get scrapped...

 

may be the organiser were'nt good enough in the previous tourny's....U can still gv it a try..who knows u may finally make a grt IVG tourny...

theres nothin big bout organizin a tourney main saint. you're not to organize prizes n sh*t. just a trial tourney. give names. decide teams b4hand(which you can obviously also change later on in game) add each other up, and game on.

 

yaar connectivity issues toh hote hi hain, in every game somethin or the other is wrong. doesnt mean you'll stop playin it. live with it. if you want to game game on, if you dont, dont discourage others who might be interested.

 

the game was always great, even playin solo on mp. i had AMAZING fun. but when i could add avi n saint n game with them, it just got that tad bit better(this was without mic btw, these guys would remember the awesome plunder matches we had), later i got the mix with same ppl, added a bit more fun... later after hunting around and startin a revolution we ended up gettin 8-10 players the last 3 days i was here, and ppl were gaming 13 hours non stop... the gaming was lifted to another level itself. mic issues and all. yes there were discon issues and it must've taken 15 or so mins to solve bcoz no man was left behind in any of our main games. we would play eliminations while the problem guy would reset ps3 n connection. so yes you can work around and sacrifice 15-30 minutes for that amazing amount of pleasure you would receive otherwise. wish we had some way to show you recorded games WITH LIVE COMMENTARY....

Aur tournaments ki baat thi toh dekh loh jaakeh uss section mein keh kittneh tournaments chall rahe hain is website par, saala ab sacchai bhi nhi keh sakte, agar kaho toh logon koh jallan hoti hai. I don't have any personal interest in this, just see other forums how well they manage the tournaments, i mean why can't we do it, or jab koi try kar raha hai , toh pehleh hi laat khich doh saaleh ki, keh toon kaha jaa raha hai, baith jaa hamaare saath hi araam se.

If we want we can easily organise this thing and make 4 teams and have an awesome time with this game, I don't know any other game that offers so much variety of different modes, we can name the weekends after these modes and then have competitive matches between those teams in that mode.

 

OR we can keep our stubborn attitudes and ruin it for everyone else.

Okay last weekend we were 10 guys partied up and we played for 13 hours continuously, NO OFFENCE meant but saying that it won't work is all too easy, anyone can say that, one should atleast give it a try and not jump to conclusions " ke bhai yeh toh hoyegaa hi nhi ", we got it to work last weekend for 3 nights straight, and on top of that 5 of us have been able to connect on a regular basis since the past 2 weeks, if for some reason we face some problem and the teams are not able to connect with each other, there will still be 5 members in your party who you can team up with and then play against other players.

yup i am watching these dudes, they are awesome, aur gussa nahi, i was hoping keh sab padhe likhe log hain, sahi tareeke se organise ho saktaa hai, i look at so many other foreign forums and even if there are 10 people playing a game they get themselves organised and then have fun with it, there are so many tournaments going on in those forums, but even though this forum has so many members, there is hardly a tournament going on.

 

Saala lobby mein 3 ghainte khraab karneh koh tyaar hain log, par dhang se team banaa kar khelne koh keh doh toh saap soongh jaata.

one reason why games like uncharted 2 can never be produced in india, no team work or team spirit exists here, tabhi bas HANUMAN jaisi games hi bannti hai yahan par, jiska naa sir naa pair, which can't be called a game even, it's pathetic to say the least.

 

Fir angrezoh koh dekh kar sochte rehte hain keh kya log hain aur kehte rehte hain Indians kuch ni kar sakte, abeh pehle apneh koh toh sudhaar loh kameenoh, ek game keh liye theek dhang se organise bhi nhi ho sakte and that too when everyone is playing it and has time to play it, i mean what the WTF.

 

 

Either ways i am going to enjoy the game, yahan par toh kuch honneh nhi wala, jab tak aayengeh log toh khel loonga inkeh saath nhi toh otherwise i will try and party up with guys from other forums, even if i can't do voice chat with them.

I've played every major and quite some minor MP games with people on this forum. We've had 2 KZ2 toruneys and 1 BFBC2 tourney. the turnout was much much more than what we have had so far in UC2 for now.

Killzone 2 is a game that will let you connect with a person from antaratica without any error while there are constant issues connecting with Indian in UC2. I've been playing the game for a long looooooong time so I know it's impossible to have a tourney for it.

All said and done, I still ask you to go ahead and organize a tourney and I will personally form my own team to play in it.
