Some games like Bully, Stalker, Fear has this issue while trying to patch. Your RAM is >= 4GB? if yes then follow below steps, - Start Windows Vista/7 - Enter the command msconfig into the search/run bar - Click on the Boot tab - Select Windows Vista/7 and open Advanced options.. - Check the box next to Maximum memory - And enter a value lower than 4000 (Mb) (3800 or lower recommended) - Click twice on OK and restart Windows. - Try to install the patch and it should be successful. if above doesn't work then try below as well but it doesn't make much sense to me, - Control Panel - not using classic display - Click Performance and Maintenance - Administrative tools - click local security policy - Then click Software restriction policies. - When I did this there weren't any set. So you have to click action tab to create them.
