IGN Review

8.5 Presentation

A great story full of humor. There are a lot of load times, but it's always worth the wait.

7.0 Graphics

Some nice textures and nice character models, but the framerate struggles.

9.0 Sound

The voice acting is fantastic from top-to-bottom and the soundtrack, which doesn't rely on licensed music, is excellent.

8.5 Gameplay

There's a lot of fun to be had. Everything is fairly simple, but it works well as a whole.

8.5 Lasting Appeal

The average gamer can probably finish the story in under 20 hours, but there are plenty of things to do afterwards to suck up even more of your free time.

8.7

Great OVERALL

(out of 10 / not an average)

This is absolutely pathetic: Bully: SE for the 360 is broken

Various forums are buzzing with reports of complete system lockups during gameplay in Bully: Scholarship Edition for the 360. There's also frustration from the unstable framerate and audio glitches. This is NOT just an isolated issue and Rockstar needs to be held accountable for releasing the game like this.

R* responds:

Rockstar "Horrified" By Xbox 360 Bully: Scholarship Edition Issues

We have just become aware of the issues people are having with Bully Scholarship Edition on Xbox 360. It appears that some older 360s are experiencing framerate issues, freezes and other problems. You have our word that we never experienced any of this in QA - in any of our offices or at Microsoft. I am horrified, and we are now working around the clock to rectify this situation. Thanks to Neo-Gaf for bringing this matter to our attention. We love our games and put a huge amount of energy and care into making them all that they can be. We would never shove anything out the door - we never have and never will. We apologise to everyone affected for the inconvenience. Respectfully, Sam Houser

^^ i have too much faith in R* .... even if there are glitches, i believe in R* to iron them out ASAP ... so no worries...

BTW, my copy was dispatched from Game on 05.03.2008 so should expect it in a week or 2 ... :) so plenty of time for R* to iron out the glitches ... :band:
