wickedbl0ke Posted November 3, 2009 Report Share Posted November 3, 2009 ^^^^ there are a few games like uc2 and more that have some issues with the 3.0 firmware. upgrade to 3.0.1 and tings shud be sorted. additionally, i have heavy dust probs at my home so i need to keep things clean, particularly my ps3. i got me one of my hand vacuums. dont blow. suck air. f you blow perhaps you can spread the dust. is your ps3 in warranty? if it is give it to sony for their own servicing. if not, open it up. look at utube for how to open ur ps3. dont open the lens component. study well before u open it. clean it well. when i say clean it well, i mean WELL. use a good lens cleaner disc and not those chinese shitty things in the market. use alcohol swabs to clean delicate areas. again. if you are not comfortable doing it urslef, DONT. and nver do it alone. have a frnd by ur side for second opinions. as i see it, you just have a dust prob as i did a few weeks ago. i cleant it and upgraded to 3..0.1 and now im all good. It seems that this guy has had all sorts of problems with this Ps3.. .. Every issue you post, this guy says " I had it before and i fixed it" WTF I have seen it on lots of threads..Now that's what i call spamming with sense.. @redarmi77 As far the SOD is concerned, you'd better get ur console replaced. Sell the console here and get a new one from croma with the extended warranty(Though i am not sure if they do offer the extended warranty for the Ps3..
