Shantz helped me as well last night , his script worked twice after which they found the loophole and sealed it, still I was slow , got bored of pressing F5 repeatedly for 10mins , wasted 3-4 hrs trying to get a code , went to sleep at 3am. I discussed the same with danny and angy and they told its fine. Also i had to do it since angy wanted my slot. Also i didn't change the pwd. Shantz tried his best. But some a**hole found a way to code it even better via a web interface and hence put up a tweet even faster. And more than that they changed the file format after my tweet no. 3 attempt. After that shantz code couldn't work with the new file format. Shantz Posted October 27, 2010 Report Share Posted October 27, 2010 played for some time..things are ok'ish but I feel that the maps are a bit too big.. almost every map feels like pyrrhus rise and even bigger...and not too many players playing and people quitting in between make it bad.. plus some maps are very unbalanced..like one map i played dont remember the name, it was completely in favour of helghans as the distance from the elevated flyover was much less and the way to the flyover also had a lot of cover points from top.. Joy Posted October 27, 2010 Report Share Posted October 27, 2010 Played a bit initially with Ragz and Karoo , started with Medic and SMG , very less ammo , and its very hard to see cause of the particle effect sometimes unless u aim down the sight. Hip fire only works in close range , forget about killing someone with that even at medium distance. Later on many IVG guys joined one room , including Rash,Dan,Noctis,Dhruv,Krizal,Chilly,Praveer,Shantz etc. that game was a blast. Learnt quite a few new things about unlocking weapons from menu while playing it and for the first time in KZ I was using a full fledged Engineer , bot placements wee all over the place , the LMG is awesome , just crouch and get kills , aim down the sight and its a blast Graphics are stunning even at these stage , the green map is a bit eye sore and both camps normally just sit at their end and I didn't find any alternate route to get into enemy base. Some things are definitely unbalanced , spawn points suck and while I was playing as Medic earlier couldn't deploy any bot or spawn on the spot where I died.And some maps are heavily favored towards some sides , specially the ice map one where Helghats can sit on elevated stairs and ISA has to come from bottom every time and the spawn makes it a bitch. Overall nice beta , framerate dips sometimes, but they need to fix many things before release.Shooting surely isn't like COD , u need to aim properly to get kills , spraying bullets and run n gun won't work. @Dan how do I add IVG as clan tag , couldn't find a option.
