hope they make good sp like cod4 this time ,kz2 sp was promising in starting got bored midway,they shouldnt waste that awesome engine,if kz2 had better sp it would have been bigger hit just like uc2 now ,all the great games like halo,cod,gears of war have good sp,they keep perfect balance

agreed. i havent played others but gears was the first game i finished on my 360. Its sp is surely wayy more fun to play then kz2's.

 

What GG needs to do (apart from a decent story) is-

 

- a variety of locations, Kz2 was too similar in nearly all levels.

- co-op in sp.

- a big black guy in ur squad ala cole train who weilds a big gun and shouts hilarious expletives

1) Don't follow 'bigger is better' mantra for the MP, leave that to resistance/MAG. Even 32 players was overkill some maps like BG, radec etc. Have player limits for smaller maps.

 

2) don't add vehicles to MP, instead use the cover system and have mode game modes. No resapwn, elimination etc

 

3) co-op. I dunno how you do this or if it makes sense in campaign, but it needs to be in.

 

4) ok so this might not go down well with a few but anyways, cut down on classes and make it more balanced. Merge tactician & engineer. Work on assault & saboteur class.

 

5) one thing the game lacked was memorable setpieces. Make it happen

 

6) more exotic weapons. more variety in enemy types. Mechanized infantry, dogs and everything crazy you can come up with.

 

7) you guys have an amazing backstory on the site, for f**k sake use it in the campaign.

 

8) stop splintering your online community by releasing map packs every 2 months, esp the first one which released so close after release

 

10) kill Rico.

 

Plot:

 

Open the game where K2 ended, but instead of playing as ISA, you control a Hig (random no name grunt). helghast manger to push back the ISA ( more like them leaving because of what they did to visari). Sev is MIA, Rico takes over from templar as their commander. Helghast severely beaten, now start building their army again. Chapter 1 ends

 

Cut to 5 years later, ISA & earth's forces are at war, ISA have the upper hand. You play as an ISA soldier (again some no name grunt) & and throughout the campaign you are forced to kill innocent civilians, burn down cities etc making you question yourself.

 

Second half has you playing as sev again who now fights for the helghast & they have formed an alliance with the earth's forces to take down the ISA. After driving them out of earth, the alliance decides to invade vetka and finish the fight once n for all (K4) . Credits roll.

No fking way. A cover system isnt required coz the gameplay is just fine the way it is. Cover system = more camping. Not to mention, a cover system would mean a more laggy online coz its entirely dependant on the movement of the player. (laugh all you want but its true)

 

No respawns in killzone wont make sense coz its classed based and you have bots etc. etc. in the game. If you choose assault for the round, you'll end up killing every1. A game with only rifles enabled is good for no respawn game modes, otherwise, it doesnt make sense.

 

Honestly, they should just stick with what Killzone 2 is and just add a couple of tweaks here and there like balancing the bots. If they change the gameplay to make the CoD noobs happier, I'll stop playing the game. I hope they realize that the reason why you have noobs whining about the controls is because theyre too used to CoD and they play Killzone exactly the same way one plays CoD (running all over the place, zooming in with the m82 all the time). Its only coz of this why they suck at the game. They need to learn that hip-firing is THE way to go in Killzone. Its one of the games where taking a headshot REALLY requires skill (while zoomed in). In CoD, you keep shooting and if you get lucky, its a headshot.

 

And the classes are just fine, merge tactician with engineer? wtf

 

and I cannot tell you how easy it is to spot a disguised enemy (a saboteur). There is absolutely nothing wrong with those classes, the only one which needs to be balanced is the assault class (like making the rockets move slower or something so that you get time to dodge them and a detonation time in short range).

 

You need to play the MP more :chair:

but imo cover system should not be there in MP juss like kz2 :P

i am nemo and i endorse this :P

no cover please.. it doesnt work well in mp, kills the speed.

and classes are awesome, increase them if u can bt dont reduce them for f**k's sake.
