a 26-strong fact blast on Guerrilla's latest Killzone sequel!

 

Hold tight!

 

 

 

Game Modes

  • There are three game modes: Warzone, Operations, and Guerrilla Warfare. Operations is brand new.

 

Key Goals

  • It's all about your play style, everyone from casual to veteran can play.
  • There are colossal and immersive experiences that only the PS3 can offer.
  • Rewritten matchmaking system. Now easier to find friends.
  • Specific rewards. There's always something to earn no matter how many times you play the same level.
  • Bots are bigger and better than ever before.
  • Stay with your friends going game to game. There's just three simple and straightforward to getting into each multiplayer game.
  • There's now a squad priority headset channel.
  • There's now a squad member HUD.
  • There are special squad rewards.
  • The multiplayer is designed to be immersive and story driven!

 

Entirely Reworked Career System

  • There asre five different careers/classes.
  • There are six weapons per career.
  • You can rank up and earn unlock points to select abilities and weapons.

 

New Medic Class Abilities

  • The Medic has been revamped. Has a protector bot that follows him around.
  • The Medic special ability called 'Survive Bleed Out'. He Can respawn right where he died.

 

Tactical Spawn Points

  • New tactical spawn points can be claimed by Tacticians. These allow your team to spawn in better locations. Extremely useful on bigger maps and for ambushing/rushing to weapons. These can be claimed back by the other team if not held.

 

Spotlight Your Character

  • If you score the most points/are the most valuable team member, your multiplayer character features in the cut-scenes so everyone knows it was you.
  • Explosive events now affect entire levels. EMP that kills all jet packs etc. Nerve gas that blocks off certain areas of map.

 

3D/Move

  • Full 3D and Move support. No compromises for multiplayer.

 

Website

  • Fully integrated community website.
  • Track friends' news first.
  • Contribute to the Killzone franchise.
  • Track rewards.

 

Tournaments

  • Clans and tournaments are back - bigger and better than ever.
  • Unranked practice games are included.

Just to give some details of the questions Seb Downie is answering on the PS Official Forums ...

 

1. In the map from the trailer, each team has two (2) Exo suits.

2. The scopes for the weapons are standard.

3. The stars next to the badge icons is for upgrades.

4. When you're on the receiving end of a brutal melee attack, your camera goes third-person.

5. Revamped clan system.

6. Longer version of the trailer is coming soon.

7. Warzone will be returning with "much more".

8. Exo suits can be piloted by both sides if left alone.

9. Points system has been completely changed.

10. Locking at 30 FPS.

11. Party system confirmed.

12. Squads are "a lot" larger.

13. No counter to brutal melee.

14. Player count is now 24?! (instead of 32 from KZ2).

15. No weapons customization, the scopes on the weapons are now standard.

24 players ?

 

fine by me. to be really honest, apart from market and phyrus (?) rise in every other map 30 players became too chaotic, esp when it came to the fan fav radec, depot and blood gratch.

 

Loving the new improved class/career system :D need m0ar details !!

now if only some one from GG comes out and assures that hip fire remains the way it was in kz2 will i start undoing my pants.

24 is actually perfect....32 made it too chaotic and crazy

 

 

Also, AFAIK firing from the hip is the same

:huh: You always played as Engg , with ur beloved shotty , Medic has M82 , this might revive my doc instincts. B) Damn those early DKK mtchs used to be epic , revived Obaid bro thrice in a row at one spot in Tharsis against that Pak clan. :P

24 is much more ideal...thank god weapon customization would have made it mw2 or bc2...

 

 

 

n i guess Jet packs r like mounted turrets in KZ2...It stays in a location..u got to repair n use it :unsure:

yeah dude, me was is will be Engg., but whenever i played medic, there was some sort of feeling of being underpowered from the get go, like Engg had torrents and flying bots, medic had no sh!t like that, now that is all gone from what i assume reading that article....BUT....does that also mean that Engg class will also get upgraded :fear:

 

and WTF was that walking behemoth in dat GIF Snake posted? behind that EXO?

Well, I'm no FPS player........ And I don't even dare to go to the multi-player way........ I played online once in KZ2 and still can't forget what happened...... :fear::samui:

 

I just wanted to know how much time does it take to get used-to to the multi-player part for a non-FPS player like me........???????? :unsure: I mean, is it worth a buy for me.......????? (Although, mostly I will because of the SP)

 

All this Multi-player talk by you guys surely sounds interesting....... :unsure:

Arre starting me sab ki lagti ... u need to play for atleast 4-5 days regularly to get accustomed
