achilles
Well, I'm no FPS player........ And I don't even dare to go to the multi-player way........ I played online once in KZ2 and still can't forget what happened...... I just wanted to know how much time does it take to get used-to to the multi-player part for a non-FPS player like me........???????? I mean, is it worth a buy for me.......????? (Although, mostly I will because of the SP) All this Multi-player talk by you guys surely sounds interesting....... kz2 is one of the easiest FPSes to get into. the best part is..the ranks can be limited so you're playing mostly with people with your level of experience. it's the only FPS i've enjoyed online, besides BFBC2. Sa1nT_SoLd1eR
You watched the trailer now watch THIS An Interview and some meaty revelations by KZ3 senior producer about KZ3 MP and much more, A good read and video interview as well, New modes and new levelling system and much more. A lot of new revelations, @ 2 new modes ( Guerrilla warfare @ Team deatmatch, CO-OP Objective ), party system coming to KZ3 along with CLAN system, levelling Up also changed (increased ranking system to level 45, over 100 medals, and a round-based ribbon system), Improved Character Classes ( Tactician, Infiltrator, Engineer, and Marksman ). exoskeletons and improved jet packs are now available to use in the multiplayer, controls have been tuned considerably with character movement feeling faster (not Modern Warfare fast by any means but still faster than KZ2). An improved voice chat system ALSO MOVE SUPPORT EXPLAINED and how it's gonna affect or NOT affect the way the game is played and much much more. It's all revealed here. It's all looking good IMO And for all the HATERS, Do keep in mind that it is still a very early build, still a good 6 months to go before release, and I think it's pretty awesome for such an early build. http://gamescom.gamespot.com/story/6273911/killzone-3-multiplayer-hands-on/?tag=picks%3Btitle%3B1

(Although, mostly I will because of the SP) All this Multi-player talk by you guys surely sounds interesting....... MP is a lot of fun. You might get killed very easily in starting, but if you keep playing and note how others are doing things rightly (weapons, routes etc) - your game will start improving and it will only get better with time. Soon you develop your own style. Guys you play with also help you I recently started with UC2 MP - my first shooter game (I know it's not like BFBC2/MW2 etc) and my first MP. Got killed very easily in initial days (was not able to aim properly), but I can see my game is improving now (finally). Even if you get killed, it's still a lot of fun to play with friends in MP. And I guess "Unranked practice games" included in KZ3 will help new players like me. I've not played KZ2 but I'm really looking forward to play KZ3, especially MP. TheDribbler
One of the Field Medic's new abilities is the Minidrone, which is a small that you can launch in a match. It follows you around, helping to defend your character while you heal others. It also has the ability to revive you when on the verge of death, which proved extremely useful during our play through. However, it only works for a limited time, so well timed Minidrone launches are key to making though a battle alive. A new spawn point system has been implemented. Scattered around each map are way points indicating potential spawn points. We were able to run up to these and capture them, allowing us to spawn much closer to the enemy when killed. Of course, these easily be captured by the enemy as well, so there is an element of strategy involved in deciding which points to take and which to defend. Relief for tacticians now .. less stress

TheDribbler
If you're a passionate Killzone 2 player, and are especially into the idea of clans, then Killzone 3 is trying to build up what you love too. Clan support returns, but now there will be regional clan leaderboards (with matches that put you against clans in your area to maximize the quality of your connections), as well as unranked practice matches for clans. Playing with clans will also have added benefits, with clans getting experience bumps for completing certain tasks like saving clanmates during a match. The hope is that this will encourage more people to participate in clans, extending the life of the online play considerably and helping to make this part of the game more accessible. Careers also return in Killzone 3's multiplayer, but how you advance them has been changed to give the player more options. Each time you earn enough experience to level up, you're given points you can spend, allowing you to pick what unlocks you want. This means that with the game's five careers having six weapons, as well as six unique abilities to unlock, players will have a huge amount of combinations to unlock as they see fit. The multiplayer of Killzone 3 is similar to that of the previous game (it's still a competitive first-person shooter, after all), but two new modes called Guerilla Warfare and Operations are thrown in to help keep things fresh. Guerilla Warfare is a team deathmatch game that features dynamic spawning (where you spawn all over the map but always close to your team), while Operations is an objective-based game whose major feature is the inclusion of story elements. An Operations match includes several cutscenes that play out as objectives are completed, telling the story of what's going on or occurring as a result of the objective and featuring the best-rated players in the scene. TheDribbler
Gonna keep mfukin The matchmaking system, which was built from scratch, is just one of the ways Guerilla has made Killzone 3 multiplayer more streamlined, as players no longer have to scroll through server lists to find a game to join. There are also new incentives to playing as a squad. Not only does being part of a squad enable you to stick with your friends across games, but any perks earned in single-player can be shared with your squad mates in multiplayer, you can see the loadouts of your friends to help you to decide which loadout you want to choose, and your squad's voice channels take precedent over other members of your team, which makes for easier communication. Another big addition that came out our player feedback from Killzone 2 is the new career system. There are five class, six weapons and six abilities per class, and now, players can choose how they want to upgrade their weapons and abilities with the skill points their earn during multiplayer. It's yet another way that the developers have made multiplayer more personal and robust. Adding to the multiplayer variety are the new vehicles. The jetpack is perfect for raining down aerial death on opponents in uber-nerdy style, while the giant exoskeletons turn you into a tank on legs and add yet another layer of epicness to the already maddeningly intense battles
KnackChap
hardcore KZ2 fans trust in GG and they will deliver a even superior game by all standards. Hardcore Resistance fans got butt raped by insomniac fr trusting them blindly. every time there was a complaint or suggestion leading up to the release insomn would reply "trust us guys we know what we're doing'' "Its awesome, we're awesome" and we all know how that ended up. they tried to COD'ify their game and failed miserably, hopefully GG doesnt repeat the same mistakes.
