Jigsaw
Am undergoing 2 in the next 3 days...and am sh*ting bricks at the very thought of it. Asked the dentist who's gonna perform it tomorrow, he looked away and mumbled "no", but i have a feeling its just to not have me freaked out Does the anaesthesia injection itself hurt while being duh, injected??? And after that? Do you not feel a thing at all??? Please throw in your experiences guys...
blitzkreiig
Hey Umesh relax .......If you're in expert hands the only thing thats going to pain is the Anaesthesia injection (nowadays the needles are so fine you shouldn't feel much). arun360
Most people are soooo ungrateful to not have to go to a dentist, But not me..... Not anymore! Â LOL, and then there are those that will live their entire lives without having paid a single visit to the dentist. True story, they are among us and lead normal lives. blitzkreiig
Be a man .......even if it pains it'll be for a second or so, anaesthesia should last around 3-4hrs so you should be fine for the procedure. N i'll again repeat this....go to an expert, if the LA isnt applied at the right spot the whole procedure will pain. Â That gel is nothing but lignocaine applied topically, wont help much. Jigsaw
@freelancer I'm going to a private dentist. I went today to get the buggers examined... and i told him i NEED anaesthesia. He agreed. I then asked him whether he'd apply a numbing gel before giving the injection ( google zindabad), he agreed to apply the gel before giving the injection. As far as the cavit (-ies, Christ!!!! ), both of the them are right through to the gums. There's lots of other upcoming "next-big-thing" wala cavities as well that would need filling. All the years of reckless eating-ka phal hain yeh. btw, dhanda accha hain yeh bhai log. 2k for each root canal, 1500 for the metallic cap, 500 for each cavity filling. I'm running upwards of 11k already.... the gf thundered no MW2 now
Freelancer
@Shockwave : many ppl go to dental colleges coz they treat u for free but they will make u subject for student to study n treat ! but its dangerous  @jigsaw : yes , u need a LA since u jus described the (worse ) condition......  may the lord be with u in the tough times ! lol........ (touch-wood) I want to though. just for a regular check up. Â That reminds me, i'd love to be a test-subject. Imagine Dr Lawrence Gordon carrying on the legacy of jigsaw.... me waking up from slumber on the dental? chair and have a reverse bear-trap hooked onto my jaws... the dentist is about to leave the room and as he closes the door, he utters "Game Over" and then the saw theme music Please ja bhai.. dont take any chances with teeth. Right
Dude this thing is very painful. I paid visit to dentist last week, I go to him once in 6 months. He found 4 cavities and one enamel attrition, chocolates and smokes to blame I guess. Just getting the stuff filled up almost made me cry, I can just imagine the pain one has to endure in Root-canal
