Karooo
On the same day that Randy Pitchford says that Valve are childish fanboys that bash the PS3, here comes Valve's Chet Faliszek ... kind of bashing the PS3. The game writer has stated that Xbox Live's community is "head and shoulders" above the PlayStation Network, citing it as a reason why Left 4 Dead 2 isn't going anywhere near a PS3. "Right now for Left 4 Dead 2 we're looking at PC and 360 because the community aspects really fit the game -- it's all about playing with your friends," explains Chet. "But that's the short term. What we're looking at for the long term ... if it works out, it works out. Right now don't not buy it on the 360 because you think it's coming out on the PS3 -- it's not going to. Right? It's coming out on the PC and 360. It's going to be exclusive for that. "In hooking up with your friends and the community aspects, I think the Xbox 360 is head and shoulders above the PS3. The 360 and PC are on par, right?" http://www.destructoid.com/valve-xbox-360-...amp;mainnav=PS3 ________________________________________________ Lol first it was complicated architecture now community sucks bunch of unprofessional fcks. dullu
1 of the comments in that article mentioned naughty dog posting similar comments (that uc2 could not be done on 360)...But what they ignore is that naughty dog has long been a sony studio... And come on....Has Valve even tried developing for PS3 ? It's kinda like they like their comfort zone, and don't want to come out of it.... HundredProofSam
I think the Xbox 360 is head and shoulders above the PS3. The 360 and PC are on par, right? Did he just ask the interviewer to decide for him? This one wasn't very juicy. Looking forward to the December edition of "Valve bashes the PS3" peace

The Orange Box was ported to the PS3 - it was buggy as hell. Valve tried and it just didn't work out for them. ps3 owners shouldn't care. L4D isn't all that great anyways.. and the sequel is repackaged rubbish Yes totally absolutely. L4D was just the best co-op game of last year. RV1709
^i found it to be monotonous. Move from A to B, shoot zombies. Repeat.. My opinion anyways
HundredProofSam
The Orange Box was ported to the PS3 - it was buggy as hell. Valve tried and it just didn't work out for them. Valve had nothing to do with it. EA ported Orange Box L4D was just the best co-op game of last year. Hardly. The co-op was worth a couple of playthroughs, but that was it. If it was the best co-op game of last year, it was because there were no other decent co-op games. peace

My opinion anyways Left 4 DEAD is a great game, left4 dead2 is even better. Its the only co-op game where the action of every single entity in the game matters when ur palying co-op with your friends. Im guessing that u played this game all by yourself in single player in normal difficulty. Ever tried beating LEFT4DEAD in expert difficulty with 4 other human players online?? I think not. Thats the wayy this game is meant to be played. So dont go about making ur opinion into a genral statement. u tit
veNkimi
valve should probably first try to make a proper game for the ps3
ram87
Fail scenes imho. Valve sound like rational, 360 versions of our regular PS3 forum fanboys. Either that , or MS has paid them a metric f**kton to keep the series on the X360. +

HundredProofSam
Bigger LOL at those bashing L4D. Here's a quote from a review I read a while back. It's pretty spot-on A fun, but shallow game that will struggle to hold your interest beyond the third stab at completing the campaigns. While the online versus mode is fun, it doesn’t have the depth of the traditional fan favourites like Halo, Gears of War or Call of Duty peace
MarketTantrik
^^ It doesnt have the lasting power of the best MP games, but its an undeniably cool co-op game when played with friends. Case in point, the game we had at "HeWhoShallNotBeNamed"'s place was a complete riot, and it wasn't even the funniest experience I've had with the game. Even here in Muscat, it is a terrific party game when you have friends over, especially if the party involves copious amounts of alcohol.
