Harish Sangwan
Hello everyone...I have an out of warranty, YLOD fixed PS3...whose Blu Ray drive still has issues...last night I upgraded its firmware to 3.01 and downloaded Uncharted demo but the game doesnt start...when I try starting it, it show up fairly black screen, as if it was gonna load but it doesnt..it just hangs there...then I downloaded Cod:WAW demo to see if it works, but no...even COD hangs up... It was the first time that I signed-up for the PS3 network, so not sure if it would have been like even before the firmware upgrade..So what can be done now? pixeljunkie
Start a demo. Then when the black screen appears, press the eject button once. This will load the demo. Alternatively, you could also leave a disc inside the PS3 permanently until this problem is fixed in a future firmware update.
