Have a HP Omen ( first generation laptop) with me for gaming and personal work. Configure is similar to Lenovo y 50-70 -

Intel i7-4710 hq

16 Gb RAM

256 Gb ssd

4 Gb maxwell gtx 860m

Have played games like far cry 4, crysis 3, dead space 3 etc without issues. Fans do rake up during heavy gaming sessions after sometime, but laptop build and feel is good. Does not have the flash and bing of a typical gaming laptop but looks very good.

^ Maybe he bought it when it was launched and not now, maybe.

yup... it is almost 2 years old.. but still plays games well in medium - high details. Games like metro last light, crysis 3, far cry 4, wolfenstein TNO can be played in high settings with 45+ fps. However, newer games like Doom, ghost recon require medium to high in full hd to be at 40+ fps.

So these 70k MSI laptops with 1050 don't have windows installed.Like i can understand 20k laptops not having Windows but 70k laptop? These oems get the windows liscense for super cheap in bulk but they still don't install it in their gaming laptops.Or is this only in India?

So the HP AY78tx laptop which i bought had a issue and has to return, so now thinking of increasing my budget and getting a entry level HP omen which will cost additional 20k, not a big-time pc gamer but it ll be a goodstart.

Wait few days 10% cash back on citi cards, should save you another 1-2k

Aah cant do that as i have to buy it from the same place where i got the previous laptop, also they have quoted 76300 for this laptop.
