Paisa AtheK Babu, the amount of monies these models get jacked up on it is absurd but you can thank BIS import standard fo that. Every model, even the exact same SKU with a different amount of RAM needs to be recertified.

sid_008
Guys any recommendations on Ultrabooks ? I am really keen on buying this - Asus Zenbook UX330UA https://www.flipkart.com/asus-zenbook-series-core-i5-7th-gen-8-gb-512-gb-ssd-windows-10-home-ux330ua-fb157t-notebook/p/itmerphb4djk2twx?pid=COMERPHBUYU7TVHJ&srno=s_1_8&otracker=search&lid=LSTCOMERPHBUYU7TVHJ6WTUBM&qH=9afa758c25cd53ca However, only one seller is selling these Zenbooks on both Flipkart / Amazon named Scion and his ratings and reviews are quite appalling. Hence a bit skeptical. My budget is max 85k.

sid_008
Thanks for the reply Athek. Will do that. Also, does anyone own an Asus laptop here ? Wanted to know if they are reliable with their service and warranty. None of my friends or acquaintances own one. Just thought would check about this before I go ahead and buy one. Hence a bit skeptical. My budget is max 85k. Just a small advice. Please don't get Zenbooks. They are POS. Have used first gen ones and one from 2015. Still shitty. Mushy keyboard. Very important if you plan to type more than 1 hour per day. Battery life is nothing close to what they advertise Bloatware Brushed Aluminum yells attention. Ok, this is more of a personal grudge. I rectified that using a matte black decal. Edit: sh*t. @Athek. Dude. It seems all my post history and what not is gone. This is Jerin by the way. . Tried resetting password using my email, this led me here. This was not my username last time as well. It was m-jeri. ALPHA17
If you ask me, I'd recommend buying Lenovo. I've used several of them and they don't disappoint. Do give it a look Lenovo has had some spectacular allegations of malware and backdoors bundled with the launch piece, I am no longer comfortable recommending them. Thanks for the reply Athek. Will do that. Also, does anyone own an Asus laptop here ? Wanted to know if they are reliable with their service and warranty. None of my friends or acquaintances own one.
