Tyler
Started the game last night... WOW! Why didn't I start playing this game earlier!? I'm completely in love with the visuals, so much colour! It's easily one of the best looking games I've seen so far on current gen systems. Love the dreamlike atmosphere and the eerie setting. It's kind of unsettling but beautiful at the same time... something like a Tim Burton flick. The story is quite interesting and I like the various weird characters you meet. The writing is also pretty solid and has quite a bit of dark humour. Initially I was a bit put off by the gameplay but then I realized how deep and addictive it is. The combat requires a lot more strategy than just using the most powerful Folks all the time. The background music (apart from the combat music) reminds me a LOT of Silent Hill, which is a really good thing. It adds a lot to the weird atmosphere of the game. Can't wait to get home and play more!

Tyler
^^ One question Can Ellen go into a "demon mode" like Keats? If not then does she have any other special ability?
reaper
^^ nope .. nothing that i know of .. but then i played this game almost 18 months back so i might not remember. Ellen gets different costumes though that can be collected in each worlds ... each costume enhances her different attirbutes (life / the magic meter etc)

Tyler
OK, I'm a little pissed with the game... I mean I love it but the camera, especially in boss fights is horrible! It's exceptionally bad while you're fighting the Undersea City boss. The boss itself wasn't too difficult to beat but the camera made it 10 times more frustrating! I managed to beat him as both Ellen and Keats but it took much longer than expected. Now that I vented it out, it's still a great game.

If the Folklore demo is available, try it out. Personally, KZ2 might be a great game (I don't care much for FPS), but there is something very very satisfying about yanking out your enemies souls. Tyler
Finished Chapter 5. The story just keeps getting better! And the gameplay is really very satisfying. I love how it puts you into some pretty challenging scenarios with multiple types of folks to fight. For example the little task where you need to absorb a certain folk before (or later on after) you defeat the other folks in Chapter 4. From what I can tell I'm pretty much near the end. Now I'm gonna go back to all realms and collect any Folks I missed and finish all the side quests I missed. Oh and Ellen's Cloak of Twilight...
