Personally, KZ2 might be a great game (I don't care much for FPS), but there is something very very satisfying about yanking out your enemies souls. That's exactly the thing which is pulling me.. some nice new concept with some wacky six-axis implementation = rulez.. gonna get it 2morrow.. Nobody's selling it at TP.. tinbin007 has it & i have been bugging him to sell it but he hasn't finished it yet.. & what i meant is that the official price of folklore is 1800 & kz2 is being sold in TP for 2k.. thats why i said roughly equal.. Tyler Posted February 18, 2009 Report Share Posted February 18, 2009 Finished the game last night. My only thought after finishing it was that THE GAME IS SO F**KING CRIMINALLY UNDERRATED!! It's seriously one of the best games I've ever played. Not just for the addictive and well designed gameplay but also for the story and presentation. It's right up there with the Silent Hill games. Stayed up till 2:00 AM despite having to come to work the next day. I just could not go to sleep not knowing how it ends! Yes, the story is that good. It's difficult to explain really but it reminded me of Alice in Wonderland, Tim Burton movies and Pan's Labyrinth a lot. Much of it is abstract and if you don't pay attention to each and every line of dialog it probably won't make much sense in the end. But I like stories that make you think long after they're over and this game made me stay awake for another 45 mins thinking about the ending. There's an incredible revelation in the end that I seriously did not see coming. The game is almost perfect apart from some camera issues at times. But it's seriously a shame that it went mostly under the radar. With that said, it's also not for everyone. You need to appreciate abstract art forms to be able to enjoy the game.
