MarketTantrik
Remember always keep atleast 1 node every time. Do not use nodes to unlock supply chambers till the last chapter. Conserve them for weapon and stasis upgrades. Also, make sure to keep a enough nodes around to upgrade your rig's health by two points for the final chapter. Waitaminute so you didn't use any node to on Emergency supply chamber except the last level? Most of the chambers gives at least 10k (for which you can buy another) and other loots so its always good. It was a different story in DS1 though, in DS1 chambers not always give that much loot so it depends on luck. also, there is a supply chamber in chapter 8 (at the start) which gives you 2 nodes, 2 med packs a gold semiconductor and vintage suit schematic. you missed that

MarketTantrik
Buy the Contact Beam. Best weapon in the game. I also enjoyed using the Detonator Mines. Very useful in laying traps. I started out by fully upgrading my Plasma Cutter. But its pretty useless in the latter third of the game as it chews through a sh*t load of ammo to bring down a single enemy. So I respecced the nodes in my Plasma Cutter (costs 5K credits) to upgrade the Line Gun and Contact Beam and discarded the Plasma Cutter in favor of the Pulse Rifle. I found the combo of Pulse Rifle + Line Gun + Contact Beam very effective for clearing the game. The Contact Beam is a must-have. Do not ignore it. Also, make sure to upgrade the duration on the Stasis pack. You'll need it for crowded encounters.

I guess its the luck of the toss. Plus, the vintage suit becomes available in the store in the subsequent chapter.

Solitaire
you are on chapter 9 and you don't have vintage suit? Your post below answers the question. also, there is a supply chamber in chapter 8 (at the start) which gives you 2 nodes, 2 med packs a gold semiconductor and vintage suit schematic. you missed that Unlocked pretty much every bloody room but I missed this one. Yup. missed that. I guess its the luck of the toss. Plus, the vintage suit becomes available in the store in the subsequent chapter. Really? But it didn't for me atleast, and I'm on a round 1 game (that is New Game not New Game+) MT did that regenerating Necro piss you off? OMG I was like FUUUUUUUUUUU I'm right at the start of it all. Just Stasis'ed the bastard and completed the first door unlocking routine. Now the rest of the chapter awaits

I'm using the Plasma Cutter + line gun + Contact Beam + Assault Rifle . The AR sure packs a punch when fully upgraded Using the PC somewhat less now. Got the Contact Beam right after buying the Advanced Suit. OMG what a weapon. Blows 'em Necros away literally . Contrary to what I said much earlier, I found I'd accrued quite the amount. Now it's literally a surplus of stuff I have. So upgraded weapons (atleast the damage and capacity very well and upgraded the reload and speed/secondary fire aspects somewhat), the rig and one duration point on the stasis (really should have used 3-4 nodes on stasis now I think - cos I'm in that regen Necro chapter ) . The game seems throw a LOT of enemies your way these past few chapters. A bloody lot. And I'm just lovin' having the tools to blow them away without really thinking about how conserving ammo. There always seems to be enough around and my store safe is well stocked too.
Maximus
Is there a merit in keeping only one gun, plasma cutter, for the first playthrough. I actually did that in the first game and it really worked out well since I had maxed it out pretty early, chapter 8 I guess and used to cash out all other ammo I used to get. We also tend to get more ammo of the weapons that we carry so never had a ammo shortage too. I actually did that to get the Gold trophy but it was enjoyable and less decisions to make regarding upgardes. Then in the second playthrough with a lot of nodes tried and upgraded the other weapons. I haven't started this yet but would there be a situation where the plasma cutter just does not work.

spindoctor
alright so i just got past the solar array section which was awesome. i almost died once when i was outside aligning them up... was too busy floating around looking for good angles to take screenshots . man this game keeps getting better and better. found quite a few nodes as well in the last couple of chapters. i live in constant fear of somehow missing the secret rooms and more importantly, a suit upgrade schematic inside one of them. suit upgrades are the most important upgrade in the game, they shouldn't lock it behind doors that are optional and might get missed by players imo. IF you're on your first playthrough, just keep an eye out in chapter 8 and chapter 11. Two important suit schematics behind locked doors , the former I missed
