spindoctor
IF you're on your first playthrough, just keep an eye out in chapter 8 and chapter 11. Two important suit schematics behind locked doors , the former I missed yea just started chapter 8. i'm still using the 15 inventory slot suit. gonna be really pissed if i miss it. Aaarreee spinny, u want the schematics to be placed under a spotlight and a banner that says' THEES IZ YUR ZUIT UPGRADE' yes. suit upgrades are game changers man... the amount of inventory slots you have directly corresponds to how much money you will make, which in turn determines how much you can upgrade your weapons which is ultimately going to determine how you do in the later stages of the game. you can hide the schematics of ammo or even weapons behind locked doors if you want, but suit upgrades are absolutely vital when they can affect game balance so much. they should be on the main path and unmissable. Solitaire
Cool and Resistance do not mix. Resistance-hater But still it does look like a Chimera specimen from up close when you're aiming and hence shining light on it. The DS1 guy looked a lot more threatening though. WhiteWolf
Trick to get unlimited Nodes, cash and supplies Cheat: Infinite Nodes, Semi Conductors and Cash In Chapter 15, the final room contains a bench/store and save point. Backtrack down the corridor. There is a room that you must open with a Power Node, it contains 2 Power Nodes, a Ruby Semiconductor and some random items. Collect them and return to the save point. Save your game and reload it. Return to the locked Node room again and the items will have returned! You can repeat this process indefinitely. You can also do this at the Node-locked room in Chapter 7.

zen
Damn it they promised us no backtracking. In chapter 6 and i've already seen the same building colony three times, the only diff is in the lighting, candles and wall markings. Argg! The scares are telegraphed (the game is throwing ammo at me? the room i'm approaching is roomy and large? its time to hunker up for an onslaught!!) and most of the time i'm not sure why i am where i am. But the game is fun, and its the first time i've used my 5.1 Bose.

Reason I ask is because my Xbox controller is a bit loopy and cant use it on the PC.

Aftrunner
Not yet, this weekend most likely. Was unsure of which version to get. If the mouse and keyboard were FUBAR on the PC version was gonna get the 360 version.

There is a save point right next to a locked-room-node-not-locked. I think it probably works on every level.

I didn't connect my 360 controller to the PC even once during the entire duration of the game.
zen
Playing the return to Ishimura level. Love the really long dark corridor , though to really squeeze suspense from it would have been to throw no monsters at me at all. THAT (the expectation that they are about to jump at me, but dont) would have left me more scared then the basic monster chopping. Actually overall too much monster chopping, very little story.
