Noctis Posted June 10, 2010 Report Share Posted June 10, 2010 Played the demo for quite some time. Here are the initial impressions - First of all, this was a multiplayer demo. Graphics were disappointing, as in extremely low res textures. Hope this is only a problem with the demo because if the full game is like then it will certainly affect the experience. Multiplayer gameplay felt like a mix of Q3/UT style gunfights with MW2 like customization options. The modes seems to be the standard MP ones, and you can customize your loadout with different classes, weapons, abilities and perks. It seems the full version also contains killstreak rewards. Its hard to judge the MP from the demo as most of the features were locked. But overall it seemed to be an average shooter that you are likely to get tired of quickly. Also the gameplay didn't seem very balanced, and with all the perks and kills streak rewards I don't expect the full version to be any better here. Overall Im not very impressed. But I guess the MP component for this game was always an extra and it does a solid job in that regard. Its a shame there was no SP in the demo. For those who haven't already pre-ordered, my suggestion is to wait for the final release and some reviews before deciding on this. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I don't know about that, have you played the earlier PS2 TF game? And its a very restricted MP demo after all. Many good games have had not so impressive demos before, so it could certainly improve.
