Broadband Connection For Gaming in GURGAON

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys,

Its been great to be a part of IVG. Got to know numerous life saving facts frm it.

Need one more help frm u guys, I stay in gurgaon and im looking for a new broadband connection for ps3 gaming.

Cannot go for airtel bcoz all lines in my block r occupied and they need a month to set up more lines.

Plz gurgaon guys, suggest me a broadband connect which is sufficient for psn gaming, quite reasonable and have almost no downtime and better customer service.

I expect to get the ultimate solution frm this forum.

Cheers and Thanks for reading.

I stay in sec-43 near Gold Souk.

As i mentioned earlier, i cannot get another airtel connection bcoz their lines in my area are not free and they wd need a month more to get new lines installed.

so i want to go for some good non airtel connection which is good for gaming and customer service is good also.

Please suggest some.

If Reliance Broadnet (WiMax) is available in gurgaon, give it a try. Downtimes are very rare, and there are no problems like fluctuation of network speeds etc. Rental plans are limited and costlier compared to Airtel. But Since airtel in not available in your area anymore, this could be the second best bet.

Edit: My inputs based on experience in Bangalore :(

If only I could make my dad understand this :O

Go on a hunger strike, hide the TV remote, break all his bottles of teachers and pray that he doesnt throw you out.

Seriously though am in love with airtel.130-140 kbps touching download speeds on 1 mbps, almost non existent downtimes and the one time my net stopped working they fixed it an 1 and half hour(mtnl took upto 4 days :()

i get 80 kbps dwnld speed ... i have 512 kbps airtel connection

well technically speaking ,

512Kbps = 512 / 8 = 64 KBps

so in one hour you should have : (64 x 60 x 60) / (1024) = 225 MB download :P

even this is hypothetical as you cannot have exact same speed your ISP is providing you since there will be data loss .

and spooky stuff happen with airtel , like they did not turn off the night 1mbps speed for me today :( that's some unspoken marketing strategy of airtel which they give its users once in a while :O
