spindoctor
Which only means the copies shouldn't cost more than 1.5k max, unless people who're double-dipping decide to leave it alone and play billi-aurat part in their second dip. How integrated is this catwoman dlc anyway? If it can be selected from the main menu or easily completed without replaying the entire thing, I might just play it on the pc and skip using the console code. spindoctor
Nope it wasn't an unofficial hack. When i installed Mass effect 2(official copy) on my laptop it asked me for a physx dirver and wouldn't run without it.The driver was provided in the game disk and all i had to do was install it. That won't enable gpu physx on amd hardware. All those effects you see in the video will still be missing until you have an nvidia card installed. playstation
People who're playing this on 360 right now can't sell their copies Even if they did it wouldn't work on your console. why??
Big Boss
^What he said. PhySX installation is mandatory for such games. The effects will be used ONLY when you have a supported nvidia card.
playstation
physx is not recommended if you dont have high end pc...i have nvidia 8800gts,c2d and 2 gb ram i dont think i will enjoy physx ..it will slow the game a lot.

IMHO it makes more sense to buy a nVidia card ten. Also IIRC AMD had something similar planned to physx- Havok or something, I guess .Never did hear much about it though. Also IIRC AMD had something similar planned to physx- Havok or something, I guess .Never did hear much about it though. havok is not an amd thing... it's a separate company that provides physics solutions for games. it's been around for a long time and has been used in many, many games. havok now belongs to intel btw. and they never did manage to push gpu physics, which is different from cpu physics. the difference is self explanatory... it can either be run from the gpu or from the cpu. even nvidia's physx works on both cpu and gpu, but their gpu physx will only work if you have an nvidia card. and all those effects you see (flying paper, shattering glass, realistic smoke and particle effects etc.) are gpu physx features which will not run on amd hardware. nvidia didn't actually create physx, they bought the company that did and it's a closed and proprietary standard, and that's why amd users can't have it. amd is trying to develop a gpu physics solution which uses open standards and what they call bullet physics, but they're really slow at it and don't seem very interested or something like that because it seems to be going nowhere. So in a nutshell, if I'm planning to buy a new gpu its better to purchase a nvidia one.Dunno why AMD was so hyped.Lol these physics effects are the ones you want in games.
