Tyler Posted June 16, 2011 Report Share Posted June 16, 2011 I dont get this ..almost all who pick this game are gamers only...and majority of them are usually ahrdcore only...dont think those casual gamers care abt these games....or even if they do...their numbers are hardly much compared to hardcore gamers who will pick this...so why for few hundred or say even thousand spoil the box art for so many millions of us. You're thinking only about India where hardcore gamers are the ones who usually buy games (although that's not a fact either). You have to understand that Americans are the main target audience and they usually prefer loud box art which tells them exactly what the game is about, which is why EU/JP art is usually better (see Heavy Rain). I was not thinking about India....i know we are so small market that we dont matter yet....but just saying...americans you talk abt...are you sure the ones who buy this game there gonna be casual gamers....coz the market their is huge because there are lot of hardcore gamers there and casual gamers go for wii generally ....for them batman would be very hardcore man......though i agree that USA people either have shitty taste for box arts or they always get the bad ones. And this is definitely a game that caters to all types of gamers. In that case there are so many popular superhero games coming out all the time...why do most of them do so bad(eg-x-men games)... People who are after this game(casual or hardcore) ....must be already following this game a lot....even though there still be people who will go pick this game only when they come across it in stores...but there number would be not enough to make the company change their box art from good to shitty.
