Was the protagonist imagining things the whole time, like how it was shown in the end?

If so, why? I mean he looked all sane and sh*t, and it was his first time being there in Dubai.

 

So the 33rd were sent in evacuate the survivors of the storm?

Why the hell didn't they simply do that and get the f*ck out?

Why did they take control of Dubai and the survivors?

 

Did the 33rd soldiers really exist? And we fought them in the game?

Because in the end they show that he was imagining the 33rd and konrad.This got me confusing.

 

What the hell were the CIA trying to do in Dubai? Cover everything up.

walker is dead in the helicopter crash

Interesting interpretation. I always assumed that the soldiers showing up after the credits meant it was all really happening.
