Even though I don't drink much but Its a HELL for those (Liquor Addicts) who are staying in Islam influenced countries.... Liquor is banned here.. Atleast they should be available in some good/decent Hotels.

There must be some reason, Well i don't want to go in the religious/social discussions now.

Duty Free is the only way here. :(

Errr if you know people you can get liquor easily.

You can get liquor even in a country like Saudi.

He likes chivas regal, not sure about others.

Then make sure you get him blended Scotch (not single malt, coz that taste can be too strong for blended Scotch drinkers). Talisker is good, or any of the brands Outsider mentioned (provided they are available in the duty free shop).

I'll also recommend Jack Daniels or Jim Beam (basically any good bourbon) because bourbon has a different (sweeter) taste from regular whisky and coming from Chivas I think it would be a step in the right direction.

There is a drink that a few of my friends quiet often... Not sure if you guys know about this, but this is what we do:

1. Cut Green chillies in half and put them into a steel vessel (10-15 in number)

2. Empty a full bottle of flavorless vodka into it.

3. Let the vodka and the chillies settle for 3-4 hours..

4. Filter out the chilli grains and the skin...

5. Now have shots...

This was the first time I felt my intestine  ... Good times...

Try it and you will not be disappointed :exoticdance:

Got me this today : absolutely amazing taste, a must try for all those who already like JD and want to try something along very similar lines.

@Gramps : Any comments?

It's bourbon based - not my cup of tea. Heard good things about it.

How do you make vine?

Buy an old old house, wait a few centuries. Don't prune the greenery. Ensure enough moisture and damp on the walls. Voila - you have vine.

Gift from a close friend. bigyellowgrin.gif

Awesome- this is liquid gold.

The 12yo is heavenly, can't imagine how divine this 18yo scotch must be.

The 12yo is strictly ok. The 15yo and 18yo are brilliant.

Also, has anyone tried beer with coke? it's a pretty good combination, and it takes out the bad taste of beer.

It's a popular drink among the ladeez.

Anyways - my first bottle of blue label is over. Polished off with cigars. Good times.

Saw travesty occurring. This lady came over and I asked what she will have. Said vodka. Since she was a friend of some very good friends of mine, offered to open the Ciroc. What happened next floored me - she wanted to have it with Coke. Waste of some very good, and very very expensive Ciroc. Should have stuck to Smirnoff.
