Ranjit Posted November 2, 2008 Report Share Posted November 2, 2008 Told you guys its not that bad, I normally dont write reviews for games but I had to write for this one and if you read my socom review it pretty much reflects what the latest reviews says, its not a bad game there are sure some glitches even now but I am sure there is one more patch in works that should fix them. MAK Posted December 10, 2008 Report Share Posted December 10, 2008 Got the game and downloaded the update (450mb approx) but whatever the reviews are i have played the game for 3-4 hrs yesterday and loved it now you cant expect it to be a COD 4 or a WAW but this game is definately a good buy.. played on a Japanese server and it had no lag whatsoever & the best part loads of ppl have bought the Socom headset bundle so 90% of the gamers on Socom now use the voice chat FINALLY. All i can say,being a hardcore shooter games lover,is dat this game is amazing! This is my 3rd game on da ps3 and it has already made my ps3 purchase worth every penny! Graphics r really gud and add another dimension to da game if u r playing the game on hdtv.. This game is all about coordination with team-mates.....If u go out dere,shooting in open Rambo style,u'll get owned! This is an amazing game on the ps3 and u r hearing this from a Xbox fanboy! Get it ASAP ppl ! There is an update of 473 mb! The game is now totally LAG-FREE i.e ZERO LAG! Played with americans 2day....not even slightest sign of lag! Posted by Seth Luisi The news you have all been waiting for. The SOCOM: Confrontation 1.30 update has been approved and will be released tomorrow, January 9th, at about 5am EST (2am PST, 1000 UTC/GMT, 1900 JST/KST). The SOCOM: Confrontation server will be down for 1 to 2 hours at that time in order to update the server for the new update. Everything should be back up and running at about 7am EST (4am PST, 1200 UTC/GMT, 2100 JST/KST). In order to resolve incorrect player stats and to correct the stats for the Trophy support, we will be clearing all player statistics with the release of the SOCOM: Confrontation 1.30 update.
