Somebody Posted February 8, 2010 Report Share Posted February 8, 2010 lol no. this is the same kind of FUD that was spread before the game released. 1) 256 will be a clusterf**k, enjoy dying every 3 seconds: MAG is one of the most organised online shooters you'll find on the market purely from a map design/objective layout structure. 2) finding 256 players will take forever. This is Waiting baby!!: MAG's matchmaking is just incredible you'll be queued up and added to matches in just a few seconds, i dont think i had to wait for more than a minute to get in to any match i played so far. 3) people will stop playing it after a few days: Resistance 1 still has tons of full 40p servers, so does warhawk and both were games that came very early on. and lets not forget this is a game by zipper, the original makers of socom. even the ps2 ver of the game has its servers up and running and that piece of sh*t socom confrontation (made by another dev) is the most played online game on PSN. hmm... in that case, if lots of ppl are gonna be playing MAG for a while then MAG's gonna be more fun that bfbc2 since this has only some 12v12 or something right ? Was just being Rambo, finding people and killing them.. In that also run for 2 minutes and BANGGGGG a headshot kills me... How do i proceed guys.. Any tips.. Got the front grip and fast reload Why cant i buy the kit which helps me heal other. It says "But two items from the previous category" The previous category has the heal gun and quick repair... I already have the heal gun and also bought the quick repair, but still cant buy the med kit. Also have no experience points left to buy.. Am only at level 4 after 2 sittings of half an hour each. Just follow the objectives set by your leader, stick to your squad, move in groups of 3-4 and observe what they're doing. Playing lonewolf will only get you killed. At level 4, you've hardly scratched the surface You need to spend at least 2 points per tier to move to next one, at level 4 you probably ran out of points to buy revival gun. You need to go to barracks and buy it with skill points that you get from leveling. You get 1 skill point for each level. You need to buy the medkit for 2 points which allows you to heal teammates and your self. MW2 takes forever to find 12 players lol (dedicated servers ftw) Plus this is MP only game, people who buy it know what they're getting into, they know they're in the long haul. If anything, it'll have more players as the time goes by. Warhawk came out more than 2 years ago, released two dlc that split the community twice, and still has 32p full games on all maps in all modes at any given time. MP only games don't die out that easily, especially games like MAG that only get better as you play more. vgchartz says it sold around 320k in 4 days.. looks awesome for a MP only game with shitty marketing IMO and even with those numbers it has around 20k ppl playing at any point of time.. im pretty sure it will just get better from here also this game cannot be reviewed IMO so those 8/10s mean nothing... you'll have to play it yourself to get that 256k chaotic feel..
