pArth Posted February 8, 2010 Report Share Posted February 8, 2010 damn why did i switch to valor juss realized that i wont get the platinum trophy anyway there is 1 trophy for which you will have to unlock ALL medals and ribbons..there are around 40 medals and some of them have 1khrs + playtime written all over them fk i think ill juss delete my valor character tomorrow n will start from scratch with sver again but why dont you play with us from your other account ? The bitter fight is basically between Raven and SVER, Valor are poor Canadians who just got pulled into it Valor lmg is awsome last night i was out of ammo , scavenged a dead enemy's gun .. it was so smooth , the lmg .. and also the recoil was so much less than the Sver lmg .. imo SVER has the worst weapons of all 3. Their AR isn't as accurate as Raven's and LMG only holds 75 rounds compared to Valor's 100. Every time I scavenge weapon from dead bodies, it always feels better than the one I was using. rAgHaV Posted February 9, 2010 Author Report Share Posted February 9, 2010 the reflex sight of valor's LMG is garbage.. ive maxed it out n currently using that only.. sver's LMG > valor's LMG.. but you can fire 100 bullets in 1 round/magazine w/e you call it with the valor lmg whereas with sver it's 75.. and yeah point C of valor in sbaotage can be a pain for the other team.. i juss throw grenades on that staircase and get 1 kill each time.. then i juss resupply n repeat.. Well this is from their blog Veteran Mode is essentially a way to start the MAG experience over again without losing your accomplishments. While Veteran Mode does reboot your character to Level 1, you won’t lose any of your already-earned medals, ribbons or statistics when making the move. Plus, despite the experience counter for your new character resetting to zero on the Rank screen where you level up, your lifetime XP continues to be tracked on the Stats page of your Barracks (unless you completely delete a character, then all stats go away completely and you have to start again). I personally wouldn't care about XP, but I don't want to lose leadership points. Also, Another benefit is that you’ll get a permanent 10% XP bonus with every match – ensuring that you’ll level up quicker on your way to your next level cap. Veterans can be identified on the player screen by the gold insignia under the rank on their player profile card – with a number representing how many times you’ve become a veteran. rAgHaV Posted February 9, 2010 Author Report Share Posted February 9, 2010 ^^ the max i got in 1 game from that veteran bonus was 90xp ( when i earned around 900xp in a sabotage game).. it should have been 30% at least.. but it helps anyway lol.. and if you don't want the trophies then juss stick to sver.. obviously everyone won't hit lvl 60 at the same time.. so whole ivg should be on sver imo trophy whores can go for the trophies and then come back to sver.. Raven is getting better at sab as well ive lost to raven mostly as valor in sabotage.. this sver attacking game i played yesterday ended in 4mins all those new guys are joining sver can't wait to hit valor's lvl 60.. will go with raven then.. i was with raven in beta 1 as well Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Although the game for fairly positive reviews, one of the main complaints about it has been the lack of balance between the three main fractions: Raven, S.V.E.R. and Valor. Fortunately, it looks like the developer is taking an active approach in resolving these issues in MAG. Jeremy Dunham, the Sr. Community Manager of Zipper Interactive, made the following statement on the comments section of the Playstation.Blog: We are always working on the balancing for all three factions — this is a job that will never truly be done since there are so many contributing factors thanks to online play, new strategies, creative exploits, etc. Don’t expect us to stop looking for things to adjust for a long, long time. He later went into more details about rebalancing MAG: Anytime there’s the an overwhelming perception that there’s a balancing issue that needs to be addressed, we’re committed to looking into what the facts are to determine what needs to be adjusted, followed by applying those (or not adjusting things at all depending on what we find) as soon as we can. Point in fact, our next few in-game updates are going to sport a number of significant balancing adjustments that should impact the game quite noticeably regardless of who you play as. Source _______________________ each PMC holds 1 contract right now.. i don't know what balancing issues are they talking about.. regarding weapons im quiet sure that all the LMGs will be nerfed.. cuz going with the AR line makes no sense when you can get the same accuracy with more damage and ammo with those LMGs .. rAgHaV Posted February 9, 2010 Author Report Share Posted February 9, 2010 i love sver but will play as raven for their gold trophy.. fking lame trophies.. shouldn't have gone with this vet mode sh*t at all and i think they should seriously increase the RL's splash damage.. it's useless against enemy players.. only good for bunkers and vehicles.. even that 5 point RL takes FOUR rockets to take out a bunker turret or a vehicle.. and it comes with only 3 rockets most of the time i fire 3 rockets on that turret and by the time i resupply n go for that turret again someone steals my kill Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
