playstation Posted August 7, 2010 Report Share Posted August 7, 2010 thanks bhai log still time left for me to upgrade but PS bhai tera kya hua ? done with ur upgrading ? bro, mat puch tera asoo nikal ayenga ...joh band baja na dimag kharab ho gaya....i made a backup on my externall hdd from my 40gb ps3...it as about 33 gb of data took more than an hour to back up on external hdd ..after that i swapped the hdd and then it asked me for firmware ...i had downloaded it so i installed it...then i tried to do restore it ..after hours of waiting it kept on giving me error restopre could not be completed...what ever percentage was completed i got few of my music files photos and half of save game data .,no downloaded games and all...phir swap kiya ...aur purana ps3 mein naya firmware dala..trophies sync kiya ....phir back up kiya and phir repeated the process same error....then again swap my old hdd after reading abt how to solve this problem...i again went back to swap my old hdd...deleted game data utility files( which was easily 15-17 gb of data) i made a back up now..it took half the time to do the back so i swap my hdd again tried to restore....again same problem...this time downloaded games did not showed and my game save files data too...i thought okay leave it...i will download it again someday....i started using it then i started hearing some loud noice kinda those disc scratching and my ps3 XMB menu screen was not showing lot of stuffs like under video bar...under music...it all disappeared....i realized the hdd i bought was not good ..i deleted lot of stuff from my old hdd also now....using that now...ghum phir ke old mein agaya...aur sab data delete bhi kar diya.
