I get eye pains due to too much computer use. Can the world not offer a 22" monitor which runs the ps3 great guns ?!?!?! Well, if only I could check out the E2200HD at someone's place ! Thanx for the concern Nemo ! In fact that is the exact reason you guys don't see me on IVG or PSN these days. I am using a screen only when absolutely necessary. But I have noticed my eyes can take it longer if it is a smaller screen, but my work requires lotta text(Game Design Docs) so I need to strike a balance in size of the monitor. Text requires me a bigger screen, I think 22" might be the sweet spot.
RenegadeRocks
22LH20R -- I have not ignored you dude, but it seems to be a TV not a monito. Color space differences. I already have a 32" bravia which can be hooked to my PC for Movie viewing. Need a monitor now. and it is not 1920X1080
RenegadeRocks
Is there anything like a DVI splitter available in the market. Like if a monitor has o ly 1 dvi port but you want to connect 2 devices, then I could plug both the devices into the splitter and switch between the 2 inputs wjenever I want. The monitor will get one input at a time, but i don't have to chanfe wires again n again ! There's such a thing available for sound inputs, is it available for DVI inputs too? Choron ka raja
saw both dell s2409w and benq e2420hd. dell is much better in colour reproduction, and brightness too. but dell s2209w is very cheap in quality. so if you are specifically looking for 22" then try benq or samsung only. Thanx a lot dude ! By comparing the two you solved a big headache for me. For me colour is more important , so I guess Dell's the way to go. I know s2209W is not good, heard it from too many people. Looks like I will have to go the 24" way only ! EDIT: Since you have seen it, can you confirm if the S2409W can display 1:1 pixel mapping? I mean if I display 1680X1050 on it , will it compulsarily stretch it to the full monitor or does it have an option to display it on whatever size that resolution corresponds to,ie. with black areas on the sides of the monitor. I would like to have 1:1 mode. My Bravia has it, and it helps reduce the screen size even if the TV is actually 32", I can reduce its lit part by setting the res to 1024X768. That is strange as one of the reviews clearly mentions 1:1 pixel mapping ! Did you try all the options in the OSD? http://www.erodov.com/forums/dell-s2409w-review/16342.html
