We should remember that Ukraine always voted against Indian interests at UNSC and had also condemned after pokhran 98.

That's a very childish take there buddy.

Not really. In foreign relations, every nation puts their national interest first.

As per Minsk accords, complete demilitarisation of Ukraine was sought. Yet, Usa kept pushing Ukraine to join nato to put troops on the ground, contrary to what Russia as a power wanted. This war is 8 years in the making.

Let's assume if China Pakistan forges a military access and Pakistan allows Chinese troops and weapons in the PoK. Would india like it??

We would try to do something similar, ie declare Balochistan as independent and March into PoK. How would you feel about it if something like this happens?

As I said, war is never good, but we must look into the bigger picture and remain neutral. Us has a habit of meddling into affairs of other nations.

India abstaining is not even the news here. They do it all the time even against much smaller nations let alone going against our biggest arms supplier and an ally nation.

The big news here is UAE abstaining which means it has the blessings of KSA and the rest of Middle East. This is a tectonic shift in geopolitical relationship  thanks to the brain-dead foreign policy of the ? sitting inside white house.

Was it after a change in leadership (checking, since I do not know) ? Ukraine has a racism problem, but how are things looking after the recent elections ? The earlier governments were Russian stooges btw.

Of course, this war is also a push due to US meddling (as always in recent times), and that is huge warning for anyone relying on Western powers for defence.

Do you think it's not happening now ? India, AFAIK, has never been an invader.

Absolutely no sympathy for Ukraine government as an Indian. Not going to take moral high ground on this one. They voted against India in UNSC, they supported UN intervention in India Pakistan Kashmir bilateral issue, sold arms to Pakistan, condemned India's pokhran tests etc etc. Russia is our number 1 arms supplier too. It's unfortunate and sad that their people are suffering but then their government should have thought better. It's a massive failure of their government's foreign policy.

People would say otherwise, but balls of steel. He's not munching words - it'll be interesting to see the diplomatic ties once all this is over.

We are so used to leaders abandoning commoners that him and his ministers still being in the country, fighting among their voters is now seen as stupidity.

Not to mention they are fit, agile, and against all odds are giving Russia a hard time.

You can hate all you want, but respect where respect is due. They're fighting hard.

It's still people dying, families getting ruined, kids getting orphaned, loved ones getting separated. All for believing the West, whos now twiddling their thumbs.

It's Ukraine's war, but the West is sh*t faced right now. Major trust issues going forward.
