Most of the EU depends on russia for oil and gas. They can only do kadi ninda that's it. I don't think they would put troops on the ground. It's not their war. Many of my Indian colleagues are in Singapore and they had tough time even renting a house since most are owned by Chinese. It's everywhere. But if you get the opportunity, prudent to migrate, even if for a short while. QoL in general is much much better, specially when compared to the likes of Delhi/Mumbai etc where your life is shortened just due to pollution. Rate is hovering around 105-110 rubles/dollar, even if this fair market rate is up 20% from yesterday. It's still in all time low category. And if you try to actually exchange, no Bank is offering less than 150 rubles/dollar. Russian central bank is pushing market timings by several hours to prevent what is an eventual crash. But not for eternity, Central bank is opening close to 700B ruble store but most of their foreign reservers were outside the country. $350M/day, they are getting from EU won't be able to cover the cost of war which is estimated close to $20B/day. I don't think Putin thought it will come to this or will be dragged out this much. He doesn't want to use Nukes either but I am not sure whether he will look past the cost.
