Just because of few bad people the whole country gets blamed for Racism. And maybee that guy is over reacting. I agree and have observed that people DO stare at them when passing by(generally in Metro), but I myself have never seen anybody tease, poke or taunt any of them. Maybe some people do it but I travel a lot in Metro these days and have never observed any such incident. I felt like an exotic African creature-cum-spectacle, stirring fear and awe. Over reacting much? Even my attempts to beguile the public through simple greetings or smiles are often not reciprocated. Instead, the look of wonder swells as if this were all part of the act and we were all playing our parts. How can he expect somebody to smile back or greet him just because he did the same? When you get older and your friends are dropping out of gaming left right and center (both real life and online friends), you have a harder time justifying such a hobby to yourself as well as others.. We are heroes in a make believe world might not cut it. This article reminded me of some of the good things that just might make it worth it.
