rahul771 Posted January 8, 2010 Report Share Posted January 8, 2010 hello der..... im new to all this....but i really hope i get my problem solved......i got modern warfare 2 since da past1 month...but i just cannot seem to get a decent connection with it....i always get the "connecting to matchmaking server" message and it remains like that forever....god knows how many days ive spent on it....it gets connected on some days.....i really really really want a proper solution to this..please help me..ive tried evrythin from port forwarding to placing in dmz(donno if i did it properly)....so kindly,please help me out in this........im a noob at all this port forwarding thingy.... my connection is Airtel Turbo 1299......da 1mbps night 1......got it just for the game.....and it never connects....i reside at chennai.......please guys,sombody help me out.......... thanks...pls help......(ive tried evrythin)...:-( my psn id is :rahul771 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

killzone123 Posted January 9, 2010 Report Share Posted January 9, 2010 had exactly the same problem...its a problem with your router...had to buy a new dlink router to play this online ...i dont remember the model number but you can send pm to "SchneideR" http://www.indianvideogamer.com/forums/ind...p?showuser=2199 he was the other guy who had this same problem and he only suggested me to buy a new router ...and as soon i got that...the match making worked perfectly from the first time... but if you can borrow a dlink router from some friend to test it that will be better...because buying a new router and if it does not work still (you got to be really unlucky) then you will be in a fix...the seller from whom i bought was a friend so i already informed him incase it does not work i return to him same day and yea i had tried all that port forwarding etc etc etc etc etc...still nothing clicked for me...had to buy a new router...still you can try those too..btw i have same plan as yours ie Airtel Turbo 1299...there is nothing wrong with the speed etc Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
