But I guess there IS such a thing as franchise-cannibalisation. I think the employees have a point in saying that MC has been handled quite poorly. Take NFS. Despite the underwhelming releases YoY, the franchise continues to rake in the cash. It has always been promoted very well. In comparison, MC arrived as a 'Where did I come from'... Personally, I didn't enjoy MC:LA too much. So I don't think I'll be shedding tears by the bucket. However, the game had pedigree and some pretty successful predecessors.
