The WD TV loses out to others like the Popcorn Hour due to its less than stellar OS and slightly lower format compatibility. The O'play supports virtually every commonly used format.

about format i can say till today whatever i tried playing on that player it has played them easily...so what format am i missing?? :threatenlumber:

I have heard Asus O play has many bugs and problems. Stick with WD TV and load the custom firmware ~ http://b-rad.cc/wdlxtv/

You will be much better off plus I have heard WD TV has better interface compared to Asus O Play

I personally plan to pick an Apple TV, will need to shell out 15k but I will be loading XBMC or Boxee on it.
