..

And that made me look into Asus O!Play. Its a very good package i guess.

Lots of formats..which is my first req..but only wired network. which bummed me out.

Was hoping to get a NAS/eTrayz and hook it to my router. WHICH IS WHY I BOUGHT THE DAMN ROUTER FOR.

Hope third party firmwares kick in this scene too..

eSATA option is a welcome. although dont see the point.

Third party is kicking already.. :O

^^yaaro, popcorn is hard to find and xstreamer reviews say it is not a great play for hd contents...

need suggestion asap..

Xtreamer plays HD content perfect. Only 2 players to consider right now are Xtreamer and WDTV2 aka WDTV Live. Popcorn hour is a rip off and stay away from Asus 'O Play. It's crap. Read reviews on google for Asus O Play. Can't play a lot of HD content that people have thrown at it.

A friend of mine was recently in Singapore, and he picked up this...

A.C. Ryan PlayOn HD!

You can insert an internal HDD in it too with usb ports for external drives and of course a lan connection :threatenlumber: He bought a 1 TB Seagate (internal) for 4k and he's very happy with it :panic: So far, it has played everything we've thrown at it :chair:, at around 500 GB of Hi-Def movies :bash:

AFAIK, he got the player for 8k :ko:
