Ne0
Hi, Sometime when I connect my PS3 to network through wifi , the connection drops out after some time and I get this wierd - PS3 Error "8013013D". What does it mean ? The signal strength is 100% so no issues with the wifi signal. I'm using a linksys router. I checked on the net and found this could be a DNS issue, but I'm able to browse through my laptop just fine. So let me know if any of you found this problem and how you solved it. Try manually assigning the DNS setting on the PS3, also try with google DNS, 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 if ur using bsnl , welcome 2 the brotherhood..... bsnl sux n that error u told is , bsnl servers won respond to ur ping..... LOL, I had BSNL before, and it was never too bad, but I never used their DNS, which is mostly a reason for issues. So use some other DNS, and you should be fine. Ne0
I use Airtel. And yes, like someone here mentioned, I can browse using PS3 broswer, but PSN conks off with this error code :| I cannot use the wireline connection anymore as my modem/router is in a totally different room and having an ethernet cable is very inconvenient , which is also the reason why i've not updated my X360 LIVE account. wi-fi is the only option for me now

wickedbl0ke
Wireless on the PS3 isnt a failure. Set up a manual DNS and you will be on the flow.

ayush12ice
how to assign this manually ? I've configured all the DNS related settings in the router. Will it not override the settings on the PS3 ? choose to do manual setting in the ps3 instead of the automatic setting. & then when it asks for Ip address, Default router address, Dns servers. put a valid IP address & default router address. In the DNS servers input 8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4. Don't change anything in your router's settings.
