They were a subsidiary of Sega until they disbanded and formed a new division: Sega Studios San Francisco. Karooo Posted January 29, 2010 Report Share Posted January 29, 2010 [update: We originally noted in this story that the game is headed to PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 -- that was a guess on our part based on the trailer, so we've updated the text below to reflect what we know for certain, and added a few additional details.] Platinum Games' fourth title in partnership with Sega has finally been revealed: Vanquish. Coming from Shinji Mikami, creator of the Resident Evil series, the game (which we first heard about via a leaked Sega document last year) features a look similar to Mikami's P.N.03 for GameCube, and a lot of fast-paced shooting. Notably, in addition to CG combat scenes, the trailer features a few live action scenes produced by a company called LOGAN which produced similar content for the introduction to Metal Gear Solid 4.
