It took Vanquish to make it come? i am not sure abt this but i feel uncharted 2 is one of the best optimized game in the history of video gaming....even with all the superb graphics and all it still kept ps3 in cool state ...Vanquish was awesome too with its graphics and on screen displays but it seemed to put ps3 under lot of extreme stress......i hope to stay away from these type of games.... Its because your PS3 didn't had any issues with fan back then, and it might be time to clean your PS3 now....go play UC2 now and I guarantee you 100% that your PS3 will be just as loud, beside you have to consider the fact that its summer time now. (and you live in Kolkata, which isn't exactly a cold place ) Â Also whoever think he/she played Vanquish while having expectations AND then got disappointed is simply not playing the game its meant to be played as well as is certainly missing the point if they mention the length. As for those who simply don't like the game...well they never expected anything out of it in the first place. Â While I agree that DMC has a better story & characters, its the gameplay that has you coming back to it again and again. And especially in Bayonetta, those cutscenes... ugh... Big Boss Posted May 3, 2011 Report Share Posted May 3, 2011 (edited) Hey PS its the summer and not the game. I faced same loud fan noise while playing RDR that day. Before that it never spun that fast. Now I have kept my PS3 on two disc cases in such a way that the bottom is also ventilated, and fan never spun that fast. So make sure you keep it ventilated.
