MarketTantrik
if they do a bluray addon, more ppl will go for the ps3 Why do you say that? Why should someone who wants BluRay capability on their X360 go for a PS3 when they are getting that functionality cheaper than a PS3?

GamerZ-Cloud Strife
ps3 is cheap Blueray sol... hey why r goging for Blueray..xbox360 HD DVD is not less than blueray..HD-DVD is must add on for 360users "Blu-ray Disc supports 24p with its native timing, while HD DVD uses 60i timing for 24p (encoded progressively, replacing missing fields with "repeat field flags"). Decoders can ignore the “flags” to output 24p.[57] There is no impact on picture resolution or storage space as a result of this, as the HD DVD format uses the exact same video information—it simply adds notational overhead." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HD_DVD#HD_DVD...disc_comparison
MarketTantrik
The loss of True HD audio is a serious blow against HD-DVD as it acts as a disincentive to serious movie buffs who are typically the early adopters of new technology. Tyler
I am planning to order the HD-DVD add on with a friend who is coming to India on the 5th. I remember there was some offer that Amazon was running where you could get free HD-DVDs but seems like it's not there anymore(?). They do have a mail-in offer but that's of no use. Since I'll be buying a PS3 in the near future I'll be having a Blu-ray player as well.

The mail-in offer is pretty good actually with a choice 5 HD-DVD titles coming free including Full Metal Jacket and Pitch Black Cant wait till Jan to get my hands on my drive. I know the offer is good but how can I avail of it once the drive is here? I don't want to put my friend through unnecessary trouble of checking the serial number, mailing the form etc etc while he's there itself. He's not too bright at this sort of stuff really. Either way, they say the offer is valid till next year so if I get a chance to visit the states before that, I can do it myself.

Only ignorant x360 fan boys would disagree.

Helping you not to make wrong or redundant investment decision on hi definition player? So its like that, huh? Anyone says a word against 360 gets banned here or what? MarketTantrik
Your posts seldom have any real value and are worded to inflame or incite retaliation. Nobody gets banned just for supporting one console over the other. But if you continue to post comments which only serve to disgrace yourself while needlessly and unjustifiably dissing a product, feature or some other member, then you should consider a ban to be in your own best interests. MarketTantrik
K', dont start up another debate here. Let sleeping dogs lie and lets carry on with our own gaming peacefully. No need to diss one or the other console. Dont forget, you have a Wii too and there are lots of opinions against that console as well. So what say, we avoid fanboy wars as far as possible.
