ps3 with usb net

No chance. The closest you can come to it is if one day someone creates an interface for the XMB that supports it. But thats NEVER going to happen. You can try one thing.

Hook up Ubuntu or Yellow Dog Linux on your PS3 as an added OS. Then install the photon sh*t. Then plug the sh*t in. Then see if the sh*t is working. (Noticed how many times i said sh*t?) Im sure you get the point. Check it out. Try it. Let us know if it works. If it does, lets play multiplayer, if it dsnt, fire the sh*t out of yourself for buying a tata or reliance net connection on a stick.

ok....but wht bout using the USB device on ur PC n then jaking the PS3 to the PC....possible?

 

 

asking cause taking a weekday-flat in bhiwadi....braodband issues.....toh socha MTS m-blaze wld be a decent idea

 

drawback i see.....USB net tariff will be charged with wallet-rape

yes then its possible..n dont worry if you only gonna play multiplayer and not download large files coz whn playing multiplayer the data transfer is very less..........so u dnt havr to worry bout that........

I've seen a wifi router which uses USB modems but never saw it again..it was in a showroom window at Lamington Road ...must have been a one time purchase for the guy ...tht would have been the best way..unless someone hacks the PS3 software...the Photon software is irritating enough on a PC as it is.... :devil:

can anyone plz guide me that how can i connect my ps3 online using usb internet connection eg. Tata photon or reliance etc?

 

Connect the usb thing to ur pc{if u have :doh: } & then connect ur pc & ps3 with a ethernet cable & share the internet connection..i did it & it works for both PSN & Xbl i was jus testing though.. :devil:
