CarbonCore
Yeah they recently reduced it. Earlier it used to be Delhi guys enjoying low fares, now its Mumbai. I was paying 2999 before, and now it's 1999. I would've upgraded to the pack that now costs 2999, but the sh*tty thing is 8mbps, 50GB limited pack. That's like giving me a BMW and telling me that I can only drive it till the front gate. Yeah for 5k you get 10-20 mbps connection, but with 20GB monthly cap, which at 20mbps connection you can finish in less than 3 hrs
Jigsaw
^^ yeah.. MTNL Mumbai i was paying 2222 for this airtel 1mbps UL pack, it costs juss 1799 now though.. but why 1399 in Mumbai edit - http://mumbai.mtnl.net.in/triband/htm/tariff.htm wtf happened to mtnl Mumbai.. 1mbps UL @ 1599 The Home 2222 plan ( i was on one as well ) had real *unlimited* download capacity. The revised plan structures from July 09 which have the same plans with slashed rates are all FUP'ed. For example for the 1399 Airtel plan here's what you get = 1 Mbps till 25 GB, 512 kbps beyond 25 GB And on the 1999 Airtel plan = 2 Mbps till 30 GB, 1 Mbps after 30 GB I read about the FUP hate on TE and jumped on to the Freedom 2499 plan airtel had for just about a month. That one is pure 2MBps and for *old* customers non-fuped

Phoenix Wright
Tata's 4mbps plan is much better. Yes it's time-limited, but with 9pm-9am being unlimited, it works out to around 13-14 hours of 4mbps internet per day, at around 1800 bucks per month. BTW Jigsaw, is the Thane LAN still up?
