^^ Actually no. Captures the 90's it does and feels apt. Using the newer iterations of IE has been a pleasant experience compared to where I left it at IE6 / IE7.

And I don't think all of us were FireFox OR Opera operators from the get-go.

Get MS Office 2013 for 10$.

- When you open the page, it will show as India. Change to US from top.

- For me, it didn't work till I used a US VPN (HideIPVPN.com (gives 3 hours of free VPN on registering)).

- Works with Gmail id.

Edit:

- My HDFC CC was declined twice but Axis DC worked. :|

When you provoke nostalgia in an ad, people will remember what IE used to be back then. There's no point in reminding people of awesome memories from back then and expecting them to associate it with how IE may be better now.

That's not the point of this ad. The thing is people in the last few years have discarded IE even without using it; simply because of the brand. Now MS is creating this feeling of nostalgia so that people will atleast give the new IE a try. The newer versions of IE are actually pretty decent but it's just that the poor name of the browser has discouraged people from even trying it.

Used 2013 for some presentations, and I like what I've seen so far. The animations are so fluid !

MS has made me super happy this year. Legit Windows for 900 bucks (with a bucketload of licences for both Win 7 & 8) and now legit Office 2013 for 10$.
