Yeah apps is the only issue which holds the phone down.which is the reason My 32gb card is Less than half full. One other feature which I really liked apart from the obvious XBL integration is the try an buy feature for most of the apps
Zeehunter
Only dozen of 100 issues are TRUE Many of the issues are plain FALSE .. I think the guy didn't upgrade to Windows phone 7.
Zeehunter
Amount of fanboyism in this thread Do you own a Windows phone ?? Like MT said in the Android thread you don't own half of the devices and keep on giving your professional advice on the device
Zeehunter
nope it aint true at least in my phone --lumia 710 But I would like to point out two problems which I hope is solved in the next update .. 1. The ring + vibration profile is a joke really ... Cause it just vibrates for a couple of times and then keeps on ringing .. Wen I m traveling in a bus I generally miss calls due to this as I miss those two vibrations and its too noisy to hear the ringtone .. hence generally keep my phone in vibrating profile wen it is in my jeans .. 2. The volume button controls the volume of both the media playback as well as the ringtone volume ... so if i decrease the volume wen i m listening to music my ringtone volume gets decreased automatically Right on the spot I was gonna write the same thing and I saw your post .. 3rd issue is Wifi gets switched off in Stand by mode .. I lose my whatsapp notifications coz of it All the major apps are there in marketplace .. People coming from Android and IOS might face a problem though .. Zeehunter
No 3rd party browsers allowed except those based on IE. Is this true? Yes .. True

Which phone are u guys using, I have not faced the wifi problem yet maybe I have not noticed it, but whenever I put on a download from the market place and put the phone in standby mode, my download still gets completed. As you and many other users rightly pointed out and to which even I agree there are some obvious problems with the device, but funny part is that these problems are not even brought up WP7 haters, it's only WP owners who are pointing it out
Zeehunter
If you are downloading something , Wifi is remains On till the download is complete .. After download completes WiFi switches off It is done to save power but it becomes a drawback for me The solution for this is to keep your data connection ON which replaces WiFi .. 'Pranay
Okay, I knew that. The OS is designed by some retard I guess, even simple things are not there. Maybe they rushed it. The OS is awesome and is designed well, most of the points are bullshit. I suggest you use the phone for a month and you will love it.

And yes opera or dolphin browsers are still missing...but I don't think I ll use them as IE does the job pretty well .. Microsoft hasn't released APIs for browsers The third party browsers can only change the UI .. The tech they use will be of IE only MS has done the same thing for Windows 8 tablets (Windows RT) It's done to provide a uniform experience and security purposes Some developer here could explain more . I read about this on Windows blog
